The Toms River Hockey Club has rolled out a new equipment exchange program across the club...


Blackhawk Families,

Throughout the years Blackhawk families have a long standing history supporting each other. The Board has instituted an equipment exchange program for all the families of the Blackhawks to continue this tradition.

We recently have prepared storage locker space within the rink to hold extra equipment to pass on to our younger players. The idea of the equipment exchange program is to support the immediate families of the Blackhawks and all potential new families entering or wishing to enter the program. These young players grow out of their equipment at an extremely quick rate. This leaves many pieces of equipment gently used and could benefit someone else. 
By participating in the program you will be helping the young new player and even the veteran player save money. If something is available that you are in need of our goal is to make it readily available to you. Equipment will be first come, first served basis, and will rely on the honor system. Swapping equipment will be permitted. However, there is no requirement that you have to donate equipment in order to be able benefit from the program. 

In addition, Pete Nork with Parker’s Army (https://www.parkersarmy.com/) has generously prepared goalie packages for young new aspiring goalies within the Blackhawks Mite teams and our new Mite ADM program. If any of our family members have resources for additional equipment or companies that can donate to aspiring players by providing equipment please don’t hesitate to assist. Together, we can keep the Blackhawks traditions alive and build a stronger future.
