TRHC Mite ADM Program Information for 2019/2020

The Toms River Blackhawks Mite ADM program is a developmental ice hockey program for 6U/8U Mite players that follows the principals of USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM). The ADM is a nationwide player development program for youth hockey associations. It is based on age-appropriate, age-specific competition and training for boys and girls, beginning with their first steps onto the ice and carrying them through age 18 and beyond. The focus of our Mite ADM program will be on developing these young hockey players by working on skill development in a structured environment while having FUN!

For the upcoming 2019/2020 hockey season your child must be a 2011 & Below birth year to participate in the program.

Some features of our program include:

• Program runs from late June thru the beginning of March

• All practices held at Winding River Skating Center in Toms River, NJ

• Participation in ALL Toms River Blackhawks on-ice MITE travel hockey practices

• Approximately 45 On-Ice Practices!!!

• 3:1 Practice to Game Ratio

• AAHA Mite Jamboree

• Limited Half-Ice Games

• USA Hockey Quick Change Goalie Gear

• Goaltending Training at practices

• Blackhawks Practice Jersey w/ Number and Socks Included

• End of Season Mite Tournament in March

• Tuition Cost is only $890 for the entire season!!!

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Every participant is required to wear an approved ice hockey helmet, elbow pads, gloves, cup, shin guards, shoulder pads, pants, skates and stick. Players must have this required equipment to be on the ice. Our hockey club does have an EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE program that may be able to help you with obtaining some of the necessary equipment in advance of starting the program.
