Toms River Blackhawks Opening Day

Come out and join us for Toms River Hockey Club’s first Opening Day Celebration!!!

Date: September 14th

Where: Winding River Skating Center

Time: Games and festivities start at 8:00 a.m. continuing throughout the day

There will be a 50/50 raffle drawing, gift baskets, food and so much MORE! All of our Toms River Blackhawks Mite thru Bantam teams will be playing games throughout the day. This is a great way for our Blackhawks families to get to know each other and show support for our Blackhawks teams. As if it wasn't enough to have all our teams at home, Parker’s Army will be presenting the 1st Annual Parker M. Nork Student-Athlete Sportsmanship Award for the 2018-2019 Toms River Blackhawks hockey season before the games to each award recipient. Parker’s Army will also have a table set up with some exclusive merchandise to sell throughout the day!

Please help to make this event unforgettable by volunteering to assist with the day’s activities. All adult family members are welcome to help (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.). If you know of someone who would be interested in volunteering at the event; or donating goods, services, or monetary donations, please contact Cathy Fortunato (TRHC Executive Board Trustee) via email at cathymfortunato@gmail.com.

To make this event even more meaningful, we will be collecting non-perishable food and personal items for our local food pantry. Please be sure to share this information with your opponent team for that day.
 

All of the proceeds from the day’s fundraising activities will go directly into improving our Toms River Blackhawks hockey program for the 2020-2021 hockey season!
