Squirt Black wins championship in EJEPL 10U Futures Silver division

Toms River Blackhawks Squirt Black wins EJEPL championship
The Toms River Blackhawks Squirt Black team won the EJEPL 10U Futures Silver division on Sunday, February 11th by defeating the New York Apple Core by a score of 3-2 in a very exciting championship game.
The day prior, the team played another great game against the Long Island Ice Cats in the semi-final round, going into a 4v4 overtime period before scoring to win the game by a score of 4-3. Both playoff games were complete team efforts against two very good opponents. The playoff MVP was Toms River Blackhawks goaltender, Ava Pirrello, who was outstanding in both of the very close games.
