October Saves Goalie Challenge

The Toms River Blackhawks are participating in the October Saves Goalie Challenge charity fundraising competition where goaltenders ask family, friends, coaches, and teammates to pledge money for each save they make during the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, to help raise funds to fight cancer. This is a great event to highlight goaltenders and show what awesome leaders they are for their teams and their communities. It’s also a way for youth hockey players to get in the fight against cancer! October Saves will keep track of the goalie’s progress on their website over the course of the month. Goaltenders also have the opportunity to win prizes as they compete with goalies within our club and other clubs during the month!!!
