To All TRHC Members:
Elections for Executive Board positions are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. If you wish to run for a position on the Board you must submit your intentions in writing to the Election Chairperson, Lisa Fischer, either in person or by mail at the address below postmarked NO LATER THAN December 15, 2013 (45 days in advance of the date of elections).
To be eligible, you must be a TRHC member in good standing for the 2013-14 season. Your letter must include the position for which you wish to run and must be signed by at least 15 additional Toms River Hockey Club members in good standing (only one signature per family in good standing permitted). To ensure the validity of each signature, all who sign on your behalf must also print their name next to their signature.
Positions to be contested in January include 1st Vice President (2-year term), 2nd Vice President / Master Scheduler (2-year term), Treasurer (2-year term) and all four Trustee positions (1-year terms). The positions of President & Secretary are not up for election this year (off-year of 2-year terms).
The following is a list of current Board members who wish to run for office as incumbents:

Don Finnegan – 2nd Vice President/Master Scheduler
Val Dineen – Treasurer
Tina Merlucci – Trustee
Mike Noble – Trustee
Corey Sosner – Trustee
Diano Tarabocchia – Trustee
As a member, “Good Standing” is covered in the TRHC By-Laws under Article V, Section 8. The primary requirement of Good Standing is to have all fees owed paid in full no later than December 1, 2013. The only exception would be if a specific, non-standard, payment arrangement was established with the TRHC Treasurer when you signed your contract for the 2013-2014 season.
